Also, for a bridge permit, which one should I select: A work permit with same employer ? A work permit with new employer ? mine was an open work permit so no employer name was mentioned

Just select Initial work permit with new employer.

There is not a option of BOWP so select OWP.

Is there an estimate how long for the R10 completeness test to be done ? I already applied for BOWP but my work permit will expires in a month along with my SIN so seeking job might be an issue. Please advise.

BOWP submit: Feb 7th (I will be in Canada by then to finalize my application)
Work permit/Sin expiry date: March 14th

Your situation is not same as mine but i would say you may be able to work under 'Implied Status' while your BOWP is being processed.So apply when you come to Canada and if you are lucky your R10 competences check gonna approved in one month then your BOWP would be approved,

I believe continue to work wont be an issue. But once my SIN expires I cannot get new employment though right ?

No concerns about your sin card expires because you are applying BOWP,If you change employer, then it would show up right away as then they do seem to check the SIN number.

Thanks. Thing is currently I am unemployed, but I have an interview with an employer soon that is looking very hopeful for a full time offer. In case they want to hire me, are they able to do so during my implied status period (expired work permit and SIN while waiting for R10 check for BOWP and PR)

After receiving the ITA and AOR, how many months the CIC will issue you for the BOWP ?

28 days through online and paper application takes 103 days ,your application wont be approved just with the help of your AOR,you need to
passed your R10 competences,criminality etc. As soon as you submitted your eAPR then apply your BOWP immediately and they will put on hold your application
unless those are cleared.
