I have got Ontario Provincial Nomination(Masters grad stream no job offer) and applied for Permanent residency In December 2016. I got my AOR in Feb 2017. I need help for applying to BOWP. Its a pretty simple process, complete your eligibility criteria and then submit everything online, Attach your AOR letter from IRCC + all other required.

do CIC give any priority to those whose work permit expiring soon or not , because I hardly have 5 weeks in-between but according to above replies it would take 7 to 8 weeks.

I am little worried, please advise!

Hi!

Don't be worried. If you do not get your work permit by the time the first one expires, you are still able to work legally. It is called implied status. You will be able to work until the decision on your application has been made.

Today my BOWP got approved! No email yet, but I checked My CIC account. I applied on March 30th. The permit is valid for a year more. Happy, happy! Thank you, Mother Canada!!!

Congrats on your BOWP, are you paper based PNP application? what is your PR application status? when did you got your AOR?
