Got my permit this morning. Approved for an year.

Applied on Feb 12th.
went to hold status in march third week.
Medical Passed: March 23rd
R10 completed: April 4th
Approved: April 21st

Contragts..
Just a quick question.. did u tick for same employer or new employer in ur application? Any restrictions on ur BOWP? like employer name or something?

Not good news for BOWP applicants. week by week the processing time is increasing.
which means present applications are also getting delayed...

It doesn't matter as long as you provide eAOR in your application. I selected same employer and I got many options which are not necessary. But again if submit required documents then it should be fine.

How did u come to know ur r10 is completed??

You can call to cic call center to know the status.

Medical passed Mar 31 and since then there is no update.

it seems that most BOWP online applications now (under express and non-express entry) are taking almost 3mos or longer in processing.

PPR's are issued very early to CEC people compared to BOWP....The whole purpose of BOWP was to bridge between expiry date of WP and PR is losing it's value

I submitted my BOWP application on 13th April, 2017. No update yet. I submitted my e-APR on 11th April and no update for it as well.

How log does it take to get BOWP approve, my WP is expiring in June
