AOR is Feb. 13th - so I hope I get a call soon.

Hi how come your AOR is Feb 13th and you haven't done biometrics?? just being curious..from feb 13th to mid march before closing of Service canada, where were you..

only 58 service canada offices offer biometric services.

So, if they don't increase this number IRCC will take around 3 months to correct this backlog. If we can now use the regular POEs as well IRCC will speed up this process.

POEs are very limited oin biometrics collection, and specifically only for folks starting and completing their applications there.

you are correct. If only they could change this policy during this COVID-19 times...
At least they will start calling inland applicants this week.

IRCC sent BIL on APR. 24, I don't know why it took so long to get BIL but I'm waiting for biometrics as well

man if anyone gets a call first that should definitely be you and i feel your pain ...!!!

Where was I? Well, I was in Canada trying to catch an appointment that's not 2 months away. It is not like you get your BIL and catch an appointment the other day, especially if you live in bigger cities where all slots are booked for the following month.

LOL I understand, the only appointment available for me was 31 days out so I had to raise a webform asking for an extension for that 1 extra day! Then it got cancelled anyway. This has been quite the journey!

Why cic sends message to my email that there is an update on your account, but when I check there is nothing ? !!
As I said I have applied for PR in July 2020, and received the biometrics yesterday, September 14. I am living in Canada.
Again they emailed me today, but no update in my account!
Any idea?

Yes you are right. I meant how they can process my application while I am still looking to get the biometrics.

My guess is they review your eligibility, and bg check. They have your fingerprints and the new one is probably used for the cross-validation.

During the last 7 years that I live in Canada, I have never given fingerprints.
Yeah, bg check is possible.
