I have applied for Canada Visitor Visa with my parents we also have USA visitor Visa, they have got a letter requesting biometrics but I haven't got one. Is it common?

Submitted applications on 11th may'19. Paid all fees. Got biometric request for mom and dad but not mine.

It may be possible.
Have you applied from single account, showing your parents as dependent?

I guess, just wait for couple of days, you may receive Biometrics Information Letter (BIL) soon.

Yes we have applied from a single account. And I am the one who is shown dependent on father I am 24

There is no fixed rule than all applicants receive BIL at same time.

I have submitted my parents application for visitor visa. I didn’t receive the biometric request letter yet. Do you know how long it usually takes to get biometric request email after submission and full payment?
