Got the mail confirmation (Nov-2011) from New Delhi on their receipt of my application sent from NS.
They say the processing time is 10 months, as I applied in July, may be by around April 2012 i might know the decision.
I havent yet heard from New Delhi, neither have they requested for medicals. I reside with my family in canada, any one has any idea about the processing time in 2121 category?
I have landed in winnipeg on 3rd of may. This is a good part of canada. I am getting good opening in my sector within this few days.

Canada is very much promising and welcoming people. This is my understanding about winnipeg within this span of time.

For instance: I was searching for start entry program office to register, i could not find it for a while. I entered a office to enquire about the office. I started to enquire with a lady in reception. She was not quiet sure about the place and then she started to ask every staff of the office. This was a govt office. At last i found a group of people(staff) are running to get me the right direction.
I felt amazing and thought of govt offices in our country.
They started searching thru internet and given me the print out of the map marking the route with a marker pen.
This was one of the wonderful experiences i had on this promising land.
I wrote to them and this is the reply i got. your file is pending initial review by the officer. Once the review is complete and next steps on your file are determined, our office will contact you with further intructions.
What do they mean by this, even after a year they havent reviewed the file???

I HAVE GOT THE SAME ANSWER.PERHAPS OUR NOC IS NOT SUCH PRIORITY THESE DAYS.I NOTED PEOPLE MENTIONED OTHER AREAS LIKE CAL.WINIPEG GOT THERE VISA SOON BUT NOT FOR ONT.

Hi friend it is very hard to define occupation for 2121 as it covers vast area in biologist. I was also confused a lot in initial day and decided to put Pharmaqeutical microbiologist as i work in pharmaceutical industr as quality control. please provide detail work. I think you have to write biological researcher.

Very happy to let you know that I got the medicals request via email today.
Dont know whether I should wait till I get the forms by post here in Canada to go for the medicals.
They have also asked for my spouses police clearance certificate.
