Hi All,

I have recieved my PR visa under NOC 2121:biologists and related scientists.
Me and my familly are planning to move to canada in feb'12
I have done my masters in Microbiology from Nagpur University, India.

My query is:

Do I need to assess my credentials to get job in canada(toronto)
If yes, how? and could those assessments be done before we land in canada?

Are there any specific credential assessment agencies that you would recomend?

Yep i think you need to assess your credentials and also your qualification for canada job....best of luck

Me too, Microbiologist from Pakistan and trying to find out the same you are looking for, did you try the above two sites for Credential verification or not. I did Masters of Philosophy in Applied Microbiology and 10 Years experience in Food Industry.

Can we share contacts so as to help each other? My wife applied in the same NOC2121 category and we are expecting to land in August sometime.

Credential assessment can be done at www.wes.org and there is a separate organization in canada for regulating this job.
