Wow. Congrats to those who wanted Bill C-6 to pass through the Senate Committee!!

Bill C-6 just passed its Clause by Clause Consideration by the Senate Committee. Only two polled votes were held (both relating to C-6's disallowing the revocation of citizenship of dual nationals convicted of terrorist offences).

So the Bill C-6 has carried!!!

Yes, EVERY Clause of Bill C-6 has been passed by the Committee!!

Congrats to those who favored its passing.

Now the Committee are only considering observations - Currently discussing parental rights/citizenship for children adopted outside Canada. I guess they may raise the matter of judicial review etc as well
