I have gone through many threads to see the actual processing times for Banglore VFS - Visitor Visa (TRV) - Processing Time (May 2016) and could not find any. The current processing time on CIC is 22 days in India. Please do post your timeline here for actual processing time.

Status changed to passport has been dispatched. Is there a way to know if got the visa or not

We cannot make assumptions until we receive the passport. Let's hope for the best.

Yes applied on 9 th May

Rejected because the visa officer thinks I need work permit based on the information I had provided.

I just read your post in a different thread. Are you travelling on your company's work? I think you should apply for work permit. But again you will need all the company related documents.

Passports are at vfs hyderabad. Someone called my dad from vfs and said they got visa for 10 years.

I applied for super visa for my mum , its paper copy , sent on 13th may . no update yet .

how long it will take for process ?

To know your status you will have to link your application on CIC website with your receipt number. I believe you will also be notified if any changes are made to your application, if you provided your phone number and email in the application. For Example: Application reached Bangalore VFS or your passport has been dispatched. Regarding processing time, there isn't any specific time. It varies from application to application.
