Visitor visa processing time

Hi

My parents apply for visitor visa on 4th May,2016 at VFS office Chandigarh through paper application , still no reply , no message.taking number status showing your case proceeding at VFS Canada office. Processing time on website showing 19 days from VFS office Chandigarh and now it's more then one month .

Can any one suggest some ways to reach cic.

What should I do. As am pregnant so we need our parents visa on urgent basis.

I have also applied for visitor visa on 6th of may... Till date no update from chandigarh office, like yours my status is processing.... Update your status when received visa..

my mummy's super-visa sent on 13th may to Ahmadabad visa office . Its paper copy and no medical upfront.

There is no response yet. Please can anyone tell how can check online status ?

My parents get visitor visa for only six months although they have validity on passport for 2-4 years . Can anyone share there views why visitor visa issued only for 6 month Rather then till the end of expiry date of passport?

Paper application - TRV - visiting daughter in Canada at chandigarh vfs office on 7/6/2016 and application received by consulate on 8/6/2014.
Let us see if they grant visa and in how many days.

my parents applied for the visitor visa for canada in chandigarh office on May 16, 2016. but it still shows "is being processed at canada visa office Chandigarh". Is there anyone knows how long it takes because my convocation ceremony is going to held on june 24. I am on post graduation work permit.

My parents get visitor visa for only six months although they have validity on passport for 2-4 years . Can anyone share there views why visitor visa issued only for 6 month Rather then till the end of expiry date of passport?

It's up to the VO on how long the visa is issued. I am assuming they got approved for a single entry only, hence the 6 months validity.
