Hello everyone,

I hope we are all doing well. I have a little question I’m trying to find answers to.

Last year In November I was issued a deportation order because of criminality and after I spoke with the officer, I submitted application for permanent residence under spouse sponsorship (inland). At this stage the application is transferred to my local office for further assessment almost 2 months ago and I believe it will take longer than to complete than the usual timeline.

The problem I have is:

I am European citizen and My father is really sick now and he’s at the hospital. I would love to travel to Europe( the Netherlands) now and see my father. After researching online I assume, if I live then I would have to go through deportation.

I wish I could live and go see my father for a short term 1-3 weeks and apply for ARC to return to Canada so that my application can continue.

Do any body knows the process time for ARC. Or the fastest way to receive ARC and come back to Canada. Example apply in person at the embassy ?

Regards

Happy I found this part of the forum. I know not too many people are needing ARCs. My husband may need an ARC. Our application has been 1 year. It is at the Warsaw VO and no update since August 2018. They have not requested medical. Although this is our 2 nd application they may use the old one. Our rep did contact them last month and they said they will contact my husband if they need anything or have made a decision. Yup more waiting...

Question, my husband is on a on an exclusion order, which based on my understanding and cic is one year ban. The ban should be up in January 2020. I know they will ask for the removal fee back, but will he still need an ARC. He has his departure notice which after a year the CIC website says thats all he would need and he can return back as normal with his pr documentation. Is this so.
Yeah, my husband had that but they bumped it up to deportation order. But my husband did leave on his own. We will need an ARC too.

Have you heard back from them
they send me an email that they have recieved the reciept for the payment for the removal and the pictures of his dependents and the file is updated. Also if they need anything else they will reach out to us.

Thanks
