I'm hoping for updates after I get my biometrics done next week, but nothing since I updated on the 22nd of November. All I have left are biometrics and background.
Dear applicant,
This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada.
In order for us to continue processing your application, we require the following:
➢ For:
Birth registration/certificate. This must be submitted to IRCC before 5 January 2025.
➢ For:
Document proving your relationship with your inviter/family member - Please provide: Evidence of financial interdependency (i.e. joint bank account statements, joint properties, joint mortgages, joint memberships, medical/life insurances showing each other as beneficiaries, etc.). Please provide a letter detailing the origin and evolution of your relationship. This must be submitted to IRCC before 19 December 2024.
A separate and newly completed Schedule A Background Declaration form (IMM 5669) bearing an original signature. You must declare your personal history and addresses from the age of 18 (not only the past 10 years). Do not leave any gaps. - Please avoid unclear information such as “employed”. This must be submitted to IRCC before 19 December 2024.
For the evidence of financial interdependency we have nothing jointly owned. The only way I can prove this is the fact that I send my husband money every month during the times we do not live together and I am in Canada. I could also send a copy of the lease for the house we have rented together since 2020 (if we can find it or if the lawyer can send us a copy) or maybe a letter from the lawyer renting us the house attesting to the fact that we live together. I can also provide proof of our joint Pricesmart membership (equivalent of Costco). I don't have any other things we are jointly named in. Anyone else have some ideas?

My husband added me to his bank account, is there any way that your husband could add you to his account? Otherwise, I do believe a joint account similar to a Costco membership would also help show financial interdependency (it would fall under the membership part that was mentioned). If you're able to obtain the lease that feels like a very solid way to provide it as well.
