Eligibility in my file just updated today from not started to completed

do you have any idea now how long does it take for background ( because is in progress since September end )
Criminality is completed
security not started and info sharing in process
today with tracker GC key was updated as well but when i logged in there is no update even not mentioned in eligibility that its completed ( in tracker just updated to completed today )

Don't worry about the GCkey as it's just a legacy software and will only get fully updated after you have your PR cards in hand! Security (last step of background check) only gets initiated when you pass your eligibility. Since your one got completed, I'm sure it's already been initiated. I'd say wait at least till first week of January since we are already in the holiday season starting next week. However, you never know as IRCC tends to surprise people. All the best!

Has happened before. The software involved in processing of PR applications is very very dated. The errors are fewer and IRCC seemed to be doing very well in terms of processing times with it.

It means, that an officer has started reviewing your eligibility. There's no specific timeline as to how long it will take, since, it's one of the major steps in your application. Additionally, please just be prepared for a little delay since starting next week, the holiday season will kick in!
