Hey, this is perhaps a stupid question but how do people confirm criminality, info sharing, and security in the tracker? Mine just says "Background verification in progress"

by calling ircc

What does it show in your tracker?

Shows BGC "in progress" for both my spouse and I. Shows eligibility as "completed" for me, but "not started" for my spouse. Dont know what to make of this... I am the principal applicant for context.

Dependent's eligibility will always show as not started even after you get your PR. If the PA's eligibility is completed it means that both the applicants have been found eligible accumulatively. You could call and ask them specifically if they are done with info sharing, criminality or security screening? Security screening is the final step before they approve your application!

Try calling them 5 minutes before 8 AM EST on a working day. You should be able to get through after waiting for a while!
