Not yet. From two calls with IRCC, my application is being actively processed by the case processing officer at Ottawa VO.
Info-sharing, Criminality: Passed, Security: Still going on..
Eligibility: Not started yet..
From looking at previous month applicants’ timelines, I am expecting my final decision and P1 somewhere between Nov 20-Nov 30.
I think on immitracker trends show that the IRCC estimates of 5 months seem to be the time by which
most applicants have their results. This thread has been faster than immitracker averages for everything from BIL to FD

I am personally very glad! My work permit expired back in June and it was really a tough decision to go on visitor record.
Hoping for an early COPR or at least the final decision for everything to come in 2025.
I appreciate all your real time updates. That absolute hope!!
Is this normal?
AOR: August 29
Medical passed: October 31
No biometrics request or any update after.
please help

Have you looked into BOWP? Hopefully your FD comes soon, but I think you might benefit from it since visitor record is only for 6 months from June right?

You should call them today (you can turn off Caller ID and you can call any time before 4 PM PST which is 7 PM EST) and check. This being said, don't expect the call center to do anything more than telling you that it's under review and that you have not reached the 5 month mark. Some agents are more chatty than others..

Thankfully, they approved mine for one year til June 2025. Appreciate your kind words!

immitracker has sorting and filtering features so you can have a comprehensive comparison. You probably won't notice if someone posts something and never responds again in this thread
Hi All
Called IRCC and got to know eligibility and background check passed. Info sharing in progress and security not started yet.
Generally how.much time it will take to complete these steps

It totally depends on which VO is processing the application. Additionally, it also varies from one case to another!
From looking at timelines from the month of Aug, they are getting through files in terms of eligibility/FD, with the AOR til about Aug 24ish
Also, it seems Ottawa VO as one’s PVO to be faster and more efficient than other VOs.
As a Sep 1 applicant, super excited to see my security and eligibility/FD updates in two weeks or so, if not earlier.

Not sure but in medical request letter the office mentioned Sydney Nova scotia

You can always call IRCC and ask for clarity!

Right. That’s the central intake office. After your medical/biometrics, your file should’ve been transferred to one of the case processing offices as PO and SO, for eligibility and background.
In my case,
PO: Ottawa VO
SO: Sydney VO - CIO

Same VOs, I believe maybe 3/4 or more August AOR have the same offices. Hopefully, they can deal with the workloads and get us updated soon. Fingers crossed.
I did get gcms notes today, it is 17 pages notes, all seems OK
contained in the file and note the following.
RECOMMENDATION:***Appears to meet requirements*** A11.2: MET
R87: APPEARS TO MEET
MEDICAL: ALL VALID
Ready to Finalize
What does this ready to finalize means ?
--------
My current scenario is
Medical - passed
Biometrics- passed
Eligibility- passed
Criminality- passed
Security- not started
Info sharing - in progress
