Applications transfer between PVO and SVO all the time. Any of those can make the final decision.
I see. Thank you. I guess there is no use trying to guess when my application will be touched again comparing to people with the same PVO. This has been a very anxiety inducing experience and it feels like my life is on hold until there's any update. At this point, I will just avoid checking anything related to this until January. I should at least try to enjoy the holiday.

When I got my ITA, I decided to check the status maybe once a month as the processing time was so much higher. I was lucky to be processed faster, but I was mentally prepared to wait. Use the wait to focus on more productive things, make more money to support future goals, network for better job opportunities, etc. I guess, if you are a CEC - nothing will change significantly for you besides the status in itself.

Well said! A lot of the people don't realize that they are living some one else's dream who weren't lucky or privileged enough to be in our spot even if they are qualified! While the wait might feel excruciating at times but it's necessary for all of us to understand how much fortunate we all are to get our PRs in one of the most toughest times in Canadian immigration history! Just grateful to the Almighty above for everything!
IN TIME GUYS <3 <3

There are a lot more painful stories here e.g. seen families that struggled to unite because of delays. The positive thing is - the state(however bad it really is) you are in is a dream for so many others. I'm referring to the fact that you have an ITA and R10 pass. I talked to hundreds of int'l students on their PGWP last year - oh, what wouldn't they do just to be in your place!

It might look bad, but things will be over before you even know it. If you want to make things easy for yourself and go back to your home country and wait things out with ease. Unless there are circumstances forcing you to stay in Canada, not worth waiting here when you don't have work authorization. A lot of folks end up working cash jobs when this happens(risking their application). Do what makes your life easier.
needed to hear this during this long wait !!

Over a call does the agent share when was the last time the case officer worked on the file?
My file has same status since mid-November with only criminality passed. AOR Aug 10th. Outland EE

Depends on the agent. Some do share the info with the applicants and some are just rude and doesn't share!

ah. ok. The only thing that maybe stood out to me was him saying eligibility is under review. Unsure if he meant review required or processing since English didn't sound like his first langage. If no progress after a month from now, I guess GCMS notes make sense.
