Biometrics is already done on October 7 and after that I called ircc two days before and they told criminality is completed and info sharing in process. Anyone have any idea how long will it take and what are next steps

I am planning to visit India from 1st jab to 31st Jan 2025.

But I am confused about this process of portal 1 and portal 2.

I will be having extended work permit during this time, and I do have trv till Oct 2025.

Can anyone let me know what could be the option if I get portal 1 and portal 2 ahead of my travel ?

What if I get my portal just before my travel ?

How should I plan ?

Appreciate any help.

After 20th sep there is no update., Is anyone stuck on the same step.

What I know , Non Exp timeline is around 9 to 10 months , so I assume you will get next updates in Jan or Feb . may be you can check for other group where Non Exp members are there , here most members are Express entry members.

I think if you travel to India after your P1 then your TRV and WP will be invalid and you cannot enter Canada with that . So I would suggest if you can post pone your plan and travel once you get your PR
There are other groups where this issue is discussed try to look into those responses.

From the responses of different member's in this group , After BIL and Medical , the next step in eligibility pass , for some it takes 20 days for some 15 days .

Medical completed: Sept 03, 2024 (Upfront medical from 2 years ago for student visa)

Then, on Sept 29, 2024, Tracker showed Eligibility completed and Background Verification changed to In Progress (Background verification status has been updated to In progress).

No further update.

I had another update over the weekend. Background for both PA and dependent got completed as of October 11. However, I received this GU on October 14 (Thanksgiving Day). Now everything is showing as complete apart from the dependent's eligibility. Any idea what it means? Can I expect some positive news soon?

Congratulations . So in your tracker everything is showing completed and you got the ghost update in GC key ?
