how did the lawyer know?? that u oat is next week????

i got confirmation email yersterday . so to answer your question my lawyer was gonna do something get the court to get final decision cuz its been 18moths waiting . but no need to do this now. like i said everybody need to be patient and wait and dodnt fustrate and keep tcheking for update everyday.

So I have been waiting for more than 18 months, So you think Mandamus will not be helpful ?

not just be patient my friend . by calling them , request for note etc not gonna really help . 2 days before i got oath invite i call them and the agent told me you have to wait bla bla bla ur case still being process lol . just be patient and keep tcheking for update everyday .

I received a request to submit fingerprints again (2nd time). Is anyone else in a similar situation as me? Any luck after you submitted fingerprints the second time?
I am feeling stressed out!

My citizenship application timeline is shared below.

Aug2023 - AOR
Aug2023 - Fingerprint Required #1
Aug2023 - Citizenship Test Scheduled
Sep2023 - Citizenship Test Passed
Sep2023 - Fingerprint Received
Feb2024 - Physical Presence Complete
Feb2024 - Language Skills Complete
Mar2025 - Fingerprint Required #2

Background Check and Security is in progress (only things left) and all other steps are complete.

ill be the first one to say congrat to you . soon u submit ur segond fingerprint they going receive it whiting 2 months and soon they had it, will take them max 4 weeks to send you oath invite.

The criminality check needs to be renewed after a certain amount of time, which is why you got the new request for fingerprints.
Don't think too much of it. The bottleneck in your application is the security check which is completely separate from your criminality check, and unless the security check completes before IRCC marks the criminality as complete again, it will have no effect on your timeline at all.

They consider any application that goes over the normal processing time, non-routin. It doesn't really mean anything, it's just a term they use for applications that are not finalized within their average timeline.

Just last month. I requested GCMS notes and my application moved from Montreal to Vancouver, with only that change in the status (e-grant to grant)

Exact same status for me and my file moved from SCR to Vanc. E-grant to grant clearance pending.

after 18 months just got my oath ceremony today . hey guys just be patient , dodnt need to call ask for GCMS note , not gonna help at all trust me all we can do its log in everyday and check for update or log in every week . good luck guys am out this forums

Exact same status for me and my file moved from SCR to Vanc. E-grant to grant clearance pending.

Same status for me. Last month's GCMS notes show that
Office: Mississauga Location: E-Grant Clearance Pending
is changed to
Office: Vancouver Citizenship Location: Grant Clearance Pending

Also received a ghost update on March 6, 2025.
Background and prohibitions are still pending since submission in Nov 2023.

I didn't call/webform them to ask.
Following advice from others on this forum, I am just waiting and hoping they are able to do their work faster.
