Thank you so much! Interview was fast, maybe took only 10 minutes, and it was just to test my knowledge of English, even though I provided them with CELPIP and had high scores on it. After that, Oath went to in progress in 4 days and Oath was scheduled for 6 days. Incredible how long it took altogether. Your day is coming too, just don’t give up!! I was so stressed and frustrated for waiting so long knowing that my husband waited for only 5 months. I had around 13 GCMS notes, lol. I think I got on their nerves badly, so in the end they just wanted to get rid of me!

Since then, I haven’t received any further updates, and it seems my application is stuck in the Background Check step.

There are many people stuck in the security check with same timelines. Best thing we can do is probably just wait. It will eventually come...
