No email received, but I read here that one can login and take the test as long as its within the test window. Can you re-confirm please?

What's the test window? Also expect the test invite email within 2 days of your test window start date. If you don't receive that email, call them up.

I have test invite and do I need to book a exam slot?? Or just go to test link register and take exam right away?

during the process if ur internet get disconnected what happens because of bad connection for god bid ?

do u have to upload picturesof your room from 4 sides cant see that any info just comparing it to IT certification exams.

Just click on the link given to you on the day you want to take the test. Read the email with the attached pdf file, there’s information before , during and after the exam procedure.

My background check is still in progress and I got scheduled for the test. Not sure how common this is, I was under the same impression that BGC will get complete before getting scheduled for test

Same case as ours. BGC completed and then invite for online test. All other criteria in process. My guess but I am not sure is that they will complete it onced you passed the test. English proficiency — the exam is in English and they want to test your knowledge in English.

Curious too. Why they ask for fingerprints? Is it for prohibitions? As for me my friend, its been a month since our citizenship test was completed and no updates as of now. This may sound silly but I emailed the VO who sent our test invite if our application will be approved in the next 2 months as we plan to fly outside in the summer and our PR will expire soon, they replied same day and advised me to renew our PR. They sent link, PR processing for renewal takes 113 days. So of course, we’ll rather wait.

Strange. I just got email from CIC about the Citizenship test as below :

This is to acknowledge receipt of your application for Canadian Citizenship. We will review your
application and supporting documents and will contact you if additional information is required.
All citizenship applicants between 18 and 54 years of age on the date they sign their application
must meet language and knowledge requirements to become a Canadian citizen. If this includes
you, you will need to:
• Demonstrate competence in basic communication in English or French.
• Pass a written or if necessary, an oral test on your knowledge of Canada and the rights
and responsibilities of citizenship.
The knowledge test is based on the information provided in the official citizenship study guide. It
is 20 multiple choice questions and you must get at least 15 correct to pass.
• The study guide is available on the IRCC website at:
On the same page, you will find more
information on how to prepare for the test.
When your application has been reviewed and has met basic eligibility, IRCC will send you
correspondence to invite you to a knowledge test.

But I already finished my test on Jan-26 ,2022 & it shows completed on the tracker.

Does anyone faced this ? Does it mean I will have re-appear ? Or it is mistake ( tech/glitch) ?

I assume that this is aor letter. You should take a look UCI number and application number. If it is not yours, it is a mistake of someoné’s email.

No, It should not be AOR letter but yeah I never received AOR email.
