No, what I was saying is that ecas wasn't updated with corresponding notes as I went through the process, I did recieve a test invitation, had my test and also had a request for additional documents but all these steps were not documented in ecas. I sometimes see that people rely on ecas to always have entries for these events and my case shows that this doesn't always happens.

Same with me, ecas has not been updated beyond the 3rd line though I have written my test and got decision made. I think it depends on the officer in charge of the application, some of them don't input the information needed to update ecas.
I am in the same boat with you. I have only three infor updated on Ecas. However, I had the same during PR application so I am used to that. Reason why I also feel people shouldnt rely on Ecas
Hi, that is good news for you, a step closer to the end of the process now! Sheet has now been updated. I believe that the timeline to receive an invite for an Oath ceremony is mixed. Some applicants seem to get the invite within a couple of weeks, others wait months, it varies by province. Hopefully you won't have to wait too long.
They requested that from me too. Don't you worry, if your criminal record is clean, it may be because there's other individuals with the same last name as you, so they want to make sure that you truly are who you say you are. I also had my picture taken with my finger prints; I passed. Good luck
Please update line 28, PMC89. Just logged into ECAS today to see a decision has been made. Howver I don't see the date when they changed the status to decision made neither did I receive an email yet.
Well done, your application has been fairly quickly dealt with. All the very best for the Oath ceremony and thank you so much for keeping us all updated with progress during the whole process.

Hi, thanks for the question. I am not sure what the official position is re: taking an expired PR card for the Oath ceremony, but if I were in that position, I would definitely take it with you. I would probably also make a call to the CIC helpline just to see if they can add any extra advice. I am sure there must be others in your position. Maybe one of the other applicants can offer some insight?
