I have been in IP2 for 3 months..I never saw a ghost update, although I stopped checking my CIC acct everytime. I truly hope to receive PPR soon because alot is pending. I hope you are right on receiving it before the notes but in any case I am gonna be hopeful......
Aor: 16th August 2018
Medical passed: 4th September 2018
After that never received any email nor any ghost updates. But I called ircc call centre in October n got to know that criminality in progress n rest not started. Dec again I called in the last week. Eligibility Recommend passed on 1st November 2018 n criminality in progress n security not started. The status was same as above, when I again connected with call centre agent on 22nd January 2019.
But received ppr today as surprise .
Wishing all here for a speedy ppr, who are eagerly waiting as many have waited including me.
My visa ofc was Ottawa. And I am fsw inland applicant.
I have AOR 21st aug , still stuck at IP1 , no updates past medical in sept.
I have ordered gcms but it will take 1 month. i have less than a month left and its worrying me since i have not even crossed IP2 yet. also im worrying if something is wrong with my application.

also how to call IRCC and at what time, and how to call from india to canada ( i have never called international number)
Same here, 18 Aug AOR, still in IP1, got to know that eligibility is "MET" during a call to an agent last week. She mentioned that criminality and security not yet started.

I share the same timeline as yours. No updates after MEP. You seem to be lucky that you got to know eligibility , and stuff status. I called them thrice however they were hesistant to provide any information.
I know I have read this in various forms but just putting up a question for people who can answer this.
My AOR is 3rd Aug.
Medicals cleared - 24th Aug
Moved to "IP2" - Nov 21st
Is there a possibility of CIC asking for additional documents now or finding something wrong with my application now?
I am 9 days from the 6 month mark.
I have tried calling them multiple times but no luck.

Not to argue or counter your response but just out of curiosity...
Could you find any evidence (with considerable chunk of data) that application processing doesn't have influence of NOC codes??
The only reason to ask is that we might have few friends with whom we are comparing but I could not find NOC codes in Immitracker (where we have relatively good amount of data) through which one can conclude that NOC doesn't have impact.
May be I am missing on any other tracker or reference chunk of data of applicants which suggests NOC doesn't have any impact.
Again, intention is not to enter into argument.. I personally don't have any strong opinion on this.
I applied via an attorney who has been practicing in Canadian immigration for over 4 decades. He clearly told me there is no such thing as “application speeds based on NOC codes”.
I had applied with 4 other people. I was a non-IT NOC code and my 4 friends were all software engineers (with the same NOC code).
Even among those 4 people with the exact same code, we saw random processing times. The shortest one was less than 2 months. Another one got it in roughly 2 months. One took 3 months and the last one took roughly 4 months.
I have personally known of colleagues who were in the same software engineering NOC and waited beyond the 6 month timeframe to get their PPRs.
Based on this sample, there’s no trend or pattern whatsoever even for people who are in the same code. It literally ranges from less than 2 months to beyond the 6 month processing time.
The same applies to any NOC. 10 people could have the same NOC but very different timelines.
Does anyone have an idea how long question-donotreply-nepasrepondre@cic.gc.ca take to respond.my last gcsm notes showed a review for for POF. This was in November and my CIC account still shows we are reviewing documents submitted (in October already) and nothing since then
