Just spoke to CIC. Same status again which was 3 weeks back. Security yet to start. Aug 23 AOR.

She also mentioned the usual things that application is within time frame and will mostly be processed within 6 months

That’s some news .. same timeline and checking updates each day twice

What is the additional doc? If it affects your eligibility (POF, work experience, etc) then it may take time to review.. but you are already in IP2 so it is near PPR. It is just a matter of time. Your file is also at sydney which is slow as some say here.

the additional files is the prof of funds, they were not sure if i can use the money or not for the settlement, as the money is under the name of my wife, and she is the secondary applicant; so we wrote an authorization letter and explanation letter for the additional doc requirement which indicate that she authorized me to use the money. this was done by 22 of Oct. and 30th of Oct our application get into IP2 stage. so i was think they are ok with the letter and explanation, but now i am really not sure for that...

I have AOR 21st aug , still stuck at IP1 , no updates past medical in sept.

I have ordered gcms but it will take 1 month. i have less than a month left and its worrying me since i have not even crossed IP2 yet. also im worrying if something is wrong with my application.

guys, please tell my options.

also how to call IRCC and at what time, and how to call from india to canada ( i have never called international number)

I have received my Bridging Open Work Permit on 30/October/2018. I have received my email close to midnight from my lawyer.

For people wondering what to expect, It is a very simple letter that states, Date, your UCI, Your application number that starts with "W" and your name, adress. Then you get this paragraph:

Lastly the document states the type of visa, validity dates and the document number.

" Your application to remain in Canada as a temporary resident has been approved. A secure document has been mailed to you at the address that you provided when you made your application. If you have not received your secure document within six weeks, contact IRCC. "

Congratulations on receiving the PPR email.
If you are in California, they would ask you to send it to ottawa, unless you are in california as a non resident in other words if are just visiting united states as a tourist or something. What was your country of residence when you applied at AOR ?

They have asked me to Sumit passports in India, Nepal or Ottawa. I am in USA since have started the process and will be here for long now.

Unable to understand if I can send passports out of country (ie India) while in USA or should I send it to VFS located in Los Angeles or New York. Please suggest.

Finally received the PPR email.

Aor: 16th August 2018
Medical passed: 4th September 2018

After that never received any email nor any ghost updates. But I called ircc call centre in October n got to know that criminality in progress n rest not started. Dec again I called in the last week. Eligibility Recommend passed on 1st November 2018 n criminality in progress n security not started. The status was same as above, when I again connected with call centre agent on 22nd January 2019.

But received ppr today as surprise .

Wishing all here for a speedy ppr, who are eagerly waiting as many have waited including me.

My visa ofc was Ottawa. And I am fsw inland applicant.

I know I have read this in various forms but just putting up a question for people who can answer this.
My AOR is 3rd Aug.
Medicals cleared - 24th Aug
Moved to "IP2" - Nov 21st

Is there a possibility of CIC asking for additional documents now or finding something wrong with my application now?
I am 9 days from the 6 month mark.

I have tried calling them multiple times but no luck.

Should I raise another CSE or just wait for some more time?
