The email to link your application online is not considered the AOR?

If you get the email doesn't it mean your application was approved?

Oops, yes - they are the same thing (Acknowledgement of Receipt). Thought it might be something extra.

Got the email asking us to link my spouse's application to an online account. At the same time, we've been asked to submit a Schedule A and his police clearance. Has anyone been asked to submit their Schedule A and police clearance?

Our application arrived at Mississauga on August 8. No AOR1 as of yet, just that message saying that we should link his application and the document request.

This is the email we got yesterday, we've successfully linked online account and we're also asked to submit the Schedule A and police clearance. is this still not the AOR1?

No, the email indicating your application number and asking you to link IS your AOR1. Don't worry

That means your application is approved and they will process it. in the email did you have application number and UCI number? if not, you will receive it soon. Congrats

Aah, I thought the AOR was different. It was different for when I was applying for other immigration stuff before. Thanks for clarifying!

Hey Guys I am an August applicant I applied on 08 Aug received on 09th Aug. I received an AOR1 today they have provided same UCI number for my wife which I had previously before three years when I came here so they have assigned same UCI number to my wife application but why? I'm wondering if anyone know about this? please help thanks,

You're probably having the same problem as me. I was able to link mine and this is what I did...

- Choose Application number and Last name option
- Leave Place of birth and country untouched
- Fill in Passport info
- Fill other info
- Put 2 for applicants

This is what worked for me and hope it works for you. Good Luck!

Yes my sponsor received that email too. .the next day my sponsor received an AOR..
Its a little bit strange because they address the letter to her..application number the same but her
uci number is used..my sponsor acts as my representative..did you received this kind of email?

I tried.. but it said my aussie number wasnt valid or couldnt be used?? anyone else have troubles
