I am inland Applicant and close to you in term of dates and was told that I passed the eligibility requirements and still in security check and background check. They also told me that my file in progress which I do not know what does mean, do you know ?

I'm unable to find my PR application in the IRCC profile to link but below is the status of TWP from IRCC. Do you know what stage it is at please?

Yeah, and I think this is the exact same status since I saw first after linking the application. Did your friend had his/her biometrics updated?

Yes as soon as he gave biometrics they were updated online

Hmm sadly that didn't happen to me hope it doesn't take another 6 months may lose the job.

Im outland applicant. With the endorsement, they didn't provide me with the letter of support to apply for TWP due to covid.
However, my friend got his letter of support to apply for TWP. In that time, no paper-based applications were accepted no matter what. So he had to apply online. He is at background check, biometrics were submitted and updated, eligibility didn't start yet. His application is being processed in Ankara visa office, Turkey.
