Is anyone from April submissions still waiting for LPP or is it only me ? Tests Completed on July 18 & 24 for spouse and me but total silence since then.

Yes, still waiting for LPP and BG check.. Just received FP request, so it seems after I send them it may move..

Did my fingerprints on June 5th. IRCC said they didn’t receive it and sent me a final request for FP letter on august 2. I sent the proof that I had already done the FP. Still my status never changed. I finally gave in and did another FP yesterday. Hopefullly IRCC received and updated my status.

Hi @Korenzo in the list of documents for the FP request, they ask for the COPR (IMM 5292 or 5688). Searching in internet I have found that this document contains a lot of information, such as name, passport, DOB, POB, etc... Nevertheless, in the document I received only my name and address appear (together with UIC, Application and CoPR document numbers). Which document did you use for the FP?

Is there anyone who waits a month for oath ceremony invitation? It s been 32 days since LPP got completed. There is no update since then. I need to leave 3 weeks later for 3 months. I feel worried.

For those that got FP requested, what do they say in the letter?

I have this: After reviewing the biographical information on your application form, there are questions in your case with regard to sections 21 and/or 22 of the Citizenship Act, explained further on the second page of this letter.

And also this in the background information:

Where there is an indication that a criminal record may be involved, it is essential to ensure that there is no error in the identity of the applicant concerned, therefore we request fingerprints to verify the applicant’s identity

Needless to say I do not have any criminal record, but sawing this is not what I would call reassuring..

Is this standard in all the FP requests?

That is reassuring . I also got FP request for the PR, but I don't recall having those details about 'a criminal record may be involved'

Hi, I got FP and than test done and now it has been 2 weeks since my LPP is completed. Just now checked tracker, Oath Ceremoney "Not started" but rest all are completed. I got an email saying
" "Please find the instructions to download your electronic Canadian Citizenship Certificate (e-Certificate) in the attached document" ".

But surprise is i don't still have my Oath even started. Has anyone received this email in same case (before Oath start but after all LPP). Any feedback what to expect next from here.?.
