I'm jealous, all green only 3 days after the test, I have not heard a thing ever since test and BG completed. I need the citizenship (and of course passport) to apply for oversea schools, the application will start in Nov- Dec, hopefully I hear some good news.

Lol Doesn't mean much if it doesn't lead to the actual citizenship fast enough. But I am not complaining


Can you try an apply as a "citizen" and then hope you have it by the time you need to show proof

Alberta gov offers scholarship for the study, meals and dorms all covered, however, the scholarship is only open for Canadian citizen

Got update online today status changed to in progress for citizenship ceremony. Status update was on 30 August somehow it showed just today morning

scheduled for ceremony on Sept 12. Yet to receive official email.

wow, so weird long gap bg-test, but so short test-lpp I'm glad it finally moved for you. At least we can suspect that test date means nothing, it goes in parallel to other tasks, so tracking aor to test and test to lpp doesn't make any sense. aor to bg to lpp - does.

Tracking AOR to Background check to LPp might also make more sense for people who have been asked to submit fingerprints.

I'm a June applicant but I'm lurking in earlier applicant threads to see what lies ahead.
