Hi Btw what does the In progress ecas column on the spreadsheet mean? I was able to create the tracker account and see my background verification is in progress so am I supposed to update it in the spreadsheet?

Start by using the search function on the board to research AOR timelines regarding citizenship applications. You can drill it down quite a bit to narrow the results.

Add to the fact that currently there is a strike which means full time IRCC processing officers are on strike. This will have an impact on timelines.

There are people who applied in march still waiting for AOR.

It also depends on what type of application. Paper, online, family, single.

Every application is different.

My advice is to Netflix and chill. You’ll get it when you get it.

True. But if the applicant has not travelled outside Canada in the eligibility period and has a straightforward case with no complications then its better to apply whenever they seem comfortable. I have seen cases submitted with 1096 days!
