my visa is about to expire in 3 month and i am outisde canada , when am i allowed to extend it before it too late ? do i have to wait for 1 month before it expire to apply for a new visa ?

I called them and I asked the agent to remind the office but he told me cannot do that? He did told me my application is non routine and there is no deadline !!!What I should do next time?

1) Does the agent want to put in a reminder for you all depends on who picks up your call. I think I called 4 times and one time the agent was willing to do it. So, it's really by luck, but keep trying.
2) They use the "non-routine" excuse way too often. There's an actual definition of non-routine citizenship application on their website: Link. If your file doesn't fall in any of the items listed there, don't be afraid to tell the agent that picked up you call that and ask why is it a non-routine application.

We've had like 4-5 ghost updates... last update is Oct. 2023... nothing since.

LPP Completed on Monday May 13th. Oath invitation for June 5th..

Hey, not only you. I applied too in April, 2023, did test in July. LPP still pending as per GCMS notes. Status on GCMS states 'E Grant, awaiting group members'. My file is stuck in Vancouver, I submitted online and lives in Edmonton. Any updates on yours?

Not really, I called ircc last week though, they only repeated what my application status says. Nothing more

You can take help of your MP office, email your processing office oath scheduling address to ask for an update regarding oath. Additionally calling IRCC and raising webform request asking for oath date also helps like once every 10 days.

Still waiting on Prohibitions only. Last update was Oct 9 2024 for background check completion... unbelievable.
