April 2022 Spousal Sponsorship Outland - Paper/Online

I reached out to IRCC and got a temporary file number. My file is located in Nova Scotia office. Any ideas if processing will be faster in NS Office as I have heard its fastest in Ottawa office, people are getting spousal applications approved in 5 months. I submitted outland online on 27th May.

I have not got AOR yet...its been more than 2 months. I applied through representative. I am based in Toronto now and my family is back in India

What did u ask them on Call ? What information they asked u for providing temp no. I m based in BC spouse in India applied through consultant on 20th may no communication so far.

Correct me if I am wrong, it seems they process the application just based on random orders. I had applied outland by paper on April and now still got nothing. And I know some application on June already got AOR. So it is just by pure luck.

I dont think it’s by random order. I think someone gets the file we sent them in order and check them for forms and documents. If it’s complete they put it in line for someone again to do whatever to do AOR or something. But if its missing something or needs double checking they passed it to someone to do his/her thing, this is how I see it gets delayed for a little bit. I think this is how we see it as getting passed by someone who submitted their file later than us.

I experienced this 9 years ago. I thought they are doing random pick. My application at that time was submitted February and I already see March getting AOR’s. Although my application only takes 4.5 months from submission to ppr.

Hi my timeline applied online 30 april 22
Got rejection today due to missing represantive form
So now i have to wait 3,4 months again for aor?my file is in sydney.

When did you get the information about rejection? I applied on same day. However, didn't received any information or AOR yet.

I dont know , I read the temp # doesnt even confirm that the application is complete which freaks me out ,
No idea how long will it take to AOR ,

if anyone else faced such scenario please share your thoughts .
