I sent an inquiry email on Thursday morning asking for the status of my application and got an email from a case processing officer below the same afternoon:
"You are in the queue for a review of your application. Once the review has been completed, your application will be scheduled for ceremony.
You will be able to see the status next week in the IRCC website under your account.
Any further questions, please contact the client services line or check the IRCC website."
Do you think I will hear sth postitve next week?

I believe the ceremonies listed in that page are mostly in-person, even if the format is empty. For example, the one at UofT Mississauga on March 21 is definitely in-person but the format is not specified.

As I understand, currently almost all ceremonies are online. There are very few in person. Would be interesting to get a confirmation from people attending some of these.

I'm attending the one on March 21st at the UTM campus - the lady who called to confirm my RSVP just said it'll be smaller ceremony with 40-50 people vs the usual at 100-150.
HI Everyone - For Virtual Oaths, do we need to apply for the paper Citizenship certificate or IRCC mails the certificates within 2-4 weeks on their own. Thank you in advance!

IRCC website says oath should be in 4-6 months after test, so that's your best estimate. You can also check the google doc (1st page of this thread) to get an estimate based on your processing office.
