Imagine my stress. I have Spousal sponsorship pending for almost a year and citizenship application from Apr 2020.

Imagine knowing people who applied in April this year have their application(Spousal) approved and your along with numerous other persons application has been pending for year or more.


Dealing with IRCC is worst than dealing with any other Govt organization in whole Canada atleast.

IRCC is sure shot way to increase your blood pressure and increase anxiety

Hey .. I see that you are also a Calgary applicant and totally feel your frustration. Can i ask you when did you have your test valided as "Completed" and how long you waited for DM?

You bet am in same position applied for spousal last year June 2020 and my citizenship April 2020 both nothing .. can’t even leave both in pending stage .. this is way too frustrating.. adding on health issues to all . Can’t plan anything being stuck for years like this .. things have to end .. they need to figure out how rather than making people wait endlessly..

I wrote my test on June 20 , got completed n dm completed in August 10,2021 just oath says not started yet

my file in process since dec 1st then totally death.. no single movement.. don't know when ?? full of stress my PR card will expire begging of 2022 shall I call them or apply a new PR card ???? can anyone suggest me please and thanks

If you have travel plans or want to have travel document ready for any emergency then you should get it renewed.
No one knows how long it would take for cic to finish our files. it can even complete within this year because many cases take just few months from test to oath. But million$ question is, will our file get finished which we really dont know. So waiting never ends at every stage.

Test invite is the major break through in this application process which takes very long unfortunately. You can submit webform asking to send test invite which mostly dont work but we dont any other way to ask them.

It’s really sad to see how the delay is affecting everyone.. it’s not COVID that people are scared of .. gradually it’s gonna be stress that’s affecting people in the name of Covid .. CIC needs to understand this as it’s affecting peoples menta state .. which is really not good . We all have multiple things going on that needs to be take. Care as well not just this citizenship application and coz of this delay we all r screwed up big time .. sorry guys pls hold on .. be strong n just hope for yet best !!

I would apply to renew PR card.
It's already 100th day since I applied and not received yet. My card expires in 3 days

Guys anyone from Calgary got any oath invite pls pls update as soon as u get one .. I will do as well .. this is like endless waiting…. God knows when this gonna end ..

After oath will come to Track citizenship certificate..I guess

I feel soo lost with this waiting game uffff
