1- Do you think this address change will impact the processing time of my application?
2- If we have let them know we prefer email, does IRCC send us anything by mail? Or is it fully electronic if we select email?
1. I dont see any impact. They are sending the application to nearest cic processing center based on home address. So changing mailing address will not have any impact.
2. Pre-pandemic examples: We have seen many candidates received letters for aor/test/oath even when they mentioned email in their applications. Post-pandemic: We have not seen letters for AOR yet. So its up to you if you want to take chances. For sure you need to change it before citizenship certificate is mailed(even at that time people are asking the same question if it would impact - no one can answer if it would impact as we have no idea on cic's processes)
