Sorry to read. To your knowledge did you put down the info correctly? I'd it possible you forgot something? It sounds like they can't verify you were where you said you were.

What was your status before PR? Did you have study or work permit? If you had those then you can claim the one year! If you didn’t have those status then you can’t claim the time (i.e. visitor visa)

Hi @umanitoba, Even the Visitor visas is considered as temporary status. See from "Physical Presence Calculator" .

Hi one of friend is an April applicant, she got her AOR but her husband did not get it? IRCC git their application on 22nd April. They had sent both applications in one envelope. Is this something which is common?

If your friend got the AOR just now she should wait for some time may be few hours may be she can check online after 24 hours. The husbands AOR is sent to email entered on her husband's apllication.

yes I arrived as visitor in april 2016, extension approved, then I became PR in sept 2017.
it sounds I arrived to nowhere. I lost the opportunity to live in France.
