I am able to reach IRCC at 1-888-242-2100 on my third attempt. The agent told me that the communication that was supposed to be sent on Jan12 (according to online status) was cancelled. The next communication was sent on Jan14 according to their system.
If their system doesn't show as "email", then it can be email or postal. So, we need to continue to check both.
The best part is, he also confirmed me the Oath date/time and location. Also told me that even if I don't receive any invitation letter before the oath date, I can join the venue with all the required documents and attend the oath. He sent me an email with the list of required documents.
You guys can call and know your respective Oath location and required docs and be prepared for the day.

Thank paul84 for your detailed reply. So they can still send postal mails for oath invitation even though all communications have been through emails.
I'll give them a call to find out if I don't receive any mail this week.

i live in Toronto i have gotten the date to write my test
and its all the way in ( Alberta ) i'm kinda lost as to why they would send me all the way there
if i do write them to explain that i do not live in Alberta and don't have the funds to travel there
to write the test will they send me to a location in Toronto ?
