@gauravahluwalia @CanadaVisaForumMember : Spoke to CIC - they said this is common and asked to wait and look for a mail/email from them. She confirmed that they haven't sent any email/mail yet. She said, if I dont get any mail/email in a month - then to call CIC back.

Does your gcms show eligibility still RR and security cleared?
Cos from what I understand, bgc starts when eligibility is pass or recommended passes.

Not security, criminality is passed.

Security is not started yet and yes eligibility is in review required for the past 8 months and there has been no update whatsoever in gcms.

Firstly whats the review for? Have you uploaded any documents to rectify the review?

Ok guys just confirmed with IRCC. File has been approved!! Still cannot believe it. It has been LOOONG.

AOR: April 14th
Eligibility passed: May 31st
Got a couple of ghost updates in between
Last ghost update: January 30th
Called IRCC and confirmed file has been approved on Jan 30th.

Awaiting for the PPR email now!

As for my application no updates on it so far (the status pretty much showing the same as to when I applied), and my medicals is also going to expire soon. Ordered GCMS and waiting for it how long does that usually take?

so i called cic today, i asked few questions about status of my application, surprisingly it was a very nice agent, but she said my application is still in security clearance and that it may take up to 3-4 months although she cant guarantee it.. its been almost 10 months, cec inland, what are your thoughts kindly?

it takes way to long....see if you can ask for help from a MP?

Called CIC on 30/01 after receiving GCMS notes and day later (31/01) I got RFV email. Finally some friggin update!
