has anybody's application passed 130 days from AOR and still in ip1, please respond , just trying to see how many of us are in same boat.
thanks
I was, a couple of days ago. My background check has started, so I'm IP2, I guess. Will receive my GCMS notes in a couple of days and see what's up.
It's been ~135 days from AOR by the way. Last time I checked, the VO was Ottawa.
I have sent my passport to CPC Ottawa for stamping and will flagpole at US-Canada border as soon as I get it back and finish my landing process (planned Sept 4th), I have US Visa. Now the next thing on my mind is if I get married like 3 days after landing lets say Sept 7th, COPR will say Single and it will take 2 months for PR Card. Issue date on PR card would be later than my wedding date on certificate. Does that make any difference? If so I will have to postpone the wedding until I get my PR card. My future wife will not be coming to Canada with me so no sponsorship. But i do need to sponsor my parents so I dont want to do misrepresentation.
I have read people say once I land I can be called as Canadian PR and my PR application is closed, doesn't matter if i marry or adopt/anything which i need to update cic about. So practically after landing I dont need to let them know if my status changes right? If i do need to let them know can anyone help me with how the procedure goes and how to contact them? Any suggestions? Thanks a lot is advance.

135 days .Ip1.

I have seen some instances of people's cases start getting processed in Ottawa and then moved to a closer VO (e.g. Paris). I can't pinpoint a specific case right now, but it happens. Depends on the case load of VOs, I guess.

What does it mean when the file is transferred to another VO?
November? Isn't your 6 months going to end in October? Did you remind the agent that your 6 months should be between 13th to 15th Oct? I am quite interested in your reply since I would want to know if they don't stick to the 6 months processing time again.
Cheers!!
Hello,
The agent wans't very helpful so i couldn't asked more questions, but i guess they doing the security check and i'm affraid they need additional time to finalize.

Always appreciated positive replies from experts. wish you good luck for you new journey and all the best inchallah.
Thanks, wish you the same

I don't pretend to be an expert but I've been reading a lot since we've started the process and I try to use common sense as much as possible

Spoke to an agent today, when I asked for status of my eligibility, she said its still in process.
I asked if there are any recent notes, her response was "I cannot give you any more information".
I have spoke to agents before but this is the first time some one told me they cant disclose if there r any recent updates.
Is this usual ? any comments ?

I think it just depends on the agent and his/hers willingness to answer questions.
