I'm 4th Apr AOR and in a similar situation. My eligibility is still under review as my current Canadian employment reference/offer letter doesn't clearly state that I will have arranged employment for one year. The case analyst put it as review required even though I have a valid work permit till 2019 Dec. This was way back on 11 Apr mind you (according to my GCMS). Since then, I have been waiting patiently. I called CIC yesterday and got the same reply as you. I know the wait is excruciating, but believe me, thinking and worrying about it is to no avail.
Also, understand that even October may not bring you any news. There are way too many people beyond their 6 months still waiting. I guess you know what I mean.

Yes at this point I guess we can only wait. I really hope everyone who has been waiting gets their PPR soon.

Did you order GCMS notes recently ?

Yes. Second set GCMS ordered on 27 July, got them 2 days ago. Literally no movement after 14th May, where I have uploaded ADR (RCMP).
From their side, its just the Case analyst's notes on 14 Apr.

PPR - 28 August 18

Never went into IP2 or got any "ghost" updates. Never ordered GCMS notes or called them, just waited patiently.

Medical passed - 2nd May 2018
Category - CEC, inland
have been in IP2 stage for more than 2 months, background check in progress.
Called CIC agent yesterday, as per them 6 months are not yet over so have patience.

Criminal check in progress
eligibility check not yet started
security check not yet started.

any idea how much more time it will take?

CEC used to take 2-3 months last year. I'm FSW-Inland, so I think we're both sort of on the same boat, my timeline is similar, too. Did you order GCMS notes?

It’s been more than 4 months now I am still in Ip1 stage, there has been no change and no update in my application. Ordered GCMS notes on 21 August. Called CIC the first time agent said the same standard script wait 6 months we have the same info as you have. Called again last week this time the agent said my eligibility has not been met yet which is really concerning. I am really worried. Is anyone in same boat as me?? Still stuck at IP1 even after 4 months?


Btw the second agent said my file is at cpc Ottawa

I am in same boat, however as per this forum I am in IP2(Background check in progress), office is ottawa, CEC inland, PA +1 dependent.

Ghoste update : 10th August

I called CIC they told me that my application is still in progress ...and should wait up to October or November to expect receiving ppr.

November? Isn't your 6 months going to end in October? Did you remind the agent that your 6 months should be between 13th to 15th Oct? I am quite interested in your reply since I would want to know if they don't stick to the 6 months processing time again.

Thats what they said. I asked if eligibility and criminamity is finished and they said yes but they can come back to them if there is something wrong... dont know what this means. I also asked about my ADR that are still under review since april they told me they received the documents. Thats it. Nothing more to say. Just sitting back and waiting until october they said
