We have been in Canada since December 2008 on Temporary Work Visas, it was incredibly difficult at first but as time has gone on things have become easier. We love our adopted country and do 'all things Canadian'! We ski, snowboard, play hockey and lacrosse, in fact nobody realises my boys were not born here, they are almost more Canadian than some Canadians. We have embraced their lifestyle and people have been wonderful. It truly is a wonderful country, for some it will be very different, both in climate and culture, but you will find something to make peace with and it grows from there. There was nothing to prompt the move from the UK but we have been blessed with an opportunity that for some they could never comprehend or embrace, we took a chance and although nothing in life will always go according to plan, we have worked hard and it is paying off.
It is not an easy change but nothing worth having is easy. May our fortune shine on everyone...
I'm a late March 2010 applicant and I just checked my eCas (as I do most days) and it now states a May processing start date.
Yay, so exciting. I know it can still end in rejection but it's just such a relief that our file is being looked at after all this time, especially as my boyfriend's work visa expired yesterday so now he can't work here.
Good luck to those still waiting any decisions and congrats to those who just received good news
So it means they may not demand additional documents except PCC and will issue medicals. I feel as they are planning for the MI5 they may try to clear the eligible files at the earliest( files in which complexity of the case is not there, like NOC eligibility, Interview, marriage proof, criminal record etc.). So lets home we may land by December.
i got the processing start statement updated in my eCAS today...process start date in 7th may..also recieved a letter from VO...next processing step will be in 6-12 months

or single line (Received verification calls) Your application was reviewed and we started processing on Month **, 2012.
This is my guess only. There may be true only for NDVO.
My ecas is so obdurate that it refuses to change from IP ( without date) effective Feb 17,2010 nd so does the attitude of NDVO when it comes to responding my CSE, lodged on MARCH 08,2012 .Even reminder thereto has failed to evoke any freply so far.Waiting for CAIPS NOTES, ordered by my relative in Canada.
This suggests the kind of turf we all have been made to play on-rough nd very tricky,I reckon.
Please share opinion.
Thanx.
God bless all !!!!

I dont see anything to worry abt it. Because, those who got IP with date are still in same stage since may be 120 days gone for many of them. So, dont worry for the same and no need to think ur case been left behind,
I happened to go through ur post covering detail of telephonic interview u were subjected to couple of weeks back.I sincerily wish it would bring forth some happy news some day,the day we all prejuneres are painstaingly waiting for.
