Hi,

I need your advise on my current situation.

I applied for PR in April 2010. My company sent me to USA on work visa around April 2011.
Before coming to USA, I informed Canadian Embassy that I am going for a 3 months work related trip to USA and that my correspondence address will remains the same.
My stay in USA was extended to long term (Till Jan 2014) on request of client around July 2011. Since then I am in USA. I didn't informed Canadian Embassy about this extension in USA.

Issues for which I need your advise:o
1) As per Canadian Embassy, I should be in India after July 2011. Is this a problem?
2) If any Medical request comes and I send medicals from USA. Will they questions my location?
3) If PP request comes then how I should manage sending PP to India.

I have seen lot of informed and good people in this forum who helps others like us with their useful advises.

Thanks! in advance and keep the spirit high through this forum :) :D

Hi manoj,
I suggest u to inform VO asap, one day u had to reveal fact.
If u delay in informing and in meantime they discover that u had concealed this matter, they will for go into suspicion and enquiry which might delay ur processing.
Best thing submit all docs as suggested by parhar, which proove that u r legally staying in USA,attach covering letter explaining reason for delayed information.as long as u r genuine u need not worry at all.
Rgds

rao_manoj2004,

by law you must provide CIC with an FBI clearance, and it takes around 6-7 weeks to get that after someone applies for that. I am going with other advises by prahar51.

kavya,

Look closely, line # 6 of his post.
A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

Only CAIPS could say what happened to his file. lots of such cases later turned out to be a result of system error.

Hello Friends,

FYI only,

source:nationalpost.com

The reforms reflect a pledge made by Prime Minister Stephen Harper at the World Economic Forum in which he said that economic concerns would be the primary driver of Canada's immigration policy. “We will ensure that, while we respect our humanitarian obligations and family-reunification objectives, we make our economic and labour force needs the central goal of our immigration efforts in the future,” he said.

Among recent immigrants, the unemployment rate stands at 12%. Meanwhile, severe labour shortages persist — particularly in the resource and construction booms of the West. The country's labour situation is becoming “desperate,” the Canadian Chamber of Commerce warned last month, estimating that the country faces labour shortfalls of up to 500,000 workers over the next 10 years.

Three weeks ago, the Alberta Coalition for Action on Labour Shortages, a group of major Alberta employers, met for their first meeting. “If there is going to be any limit to the growth in Alberta, it is the lack of people to fill jobs,” Tim Shipton, president of the Alberta Enter-prise Group, said in an interview at the time.

There have been few glitches in the past with the Decision Made status, you can search in this same forum to know more. So, for now, after the line - "Your application was reviewed and we started processing on March 12, 2012" I would wait for 5 weeks or so and contact the Visa Office. The reason why i would wait for 5 weeks or so is........once you get the above line while "in process status" the next step is to get Medical Requests which takes about 1 to 3 months.

Hope this helps.

When we logout of E-CAS, it is asking for a survey & feedback on online services of CIC.

You should complete the survey & put forward your suggestions.

Happy morning folks

Today I found my ecas status with an additional line
'Your application was reviewed and we started processing on March 15, 2012'

Feel very happy with this change, however a little doubtful as in the entire mentioned status it also says
'We received your application for permanent residence on March 4, 2010.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on April 21, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Your application and supporting documents were received by the New Delhi office. They are pending review.[/b]

We transferred your application to the New Delhi office on April 27, 2010. The New Delhi office may contact you.

Your application was reviewed and we started processing on March 15, 2012.

Will u please check the dates in ur time line after application filing date ?
thanx.

IN PROCESS with a date. Applicants seeing this can surely expect the MR.
I'd still be skeptical though.

^ As there are cases who are in-process without processing dates (rbvo inside) receive MR's too. It's really unpredictable, no one can really tell. :)

Dear cp3isaIII ,

Yes,CIC's ONLINE status of Application facility appears unpredictable,at times nd so is the process of handling of applications BY VOS,as well.

Any ways, have done with ur MR ?
Wish u all the best for all the subsequent stages in process of ur application !!

GOOD LUCK ND GOD BLESS ALL !!!
