Hi! I am not sure if they could mail it before this weekend. The agent said it was (most) likely to get mailed and picked up by USPS tomorrow morning. Based on other timelines I've seen that also seems to be the case. But this is a special time when things seem to be processed much slower so I am not too certain about that.
Calling them clearly won't speed up anything. But some agents will give you some helpful reference like "it normally takes 24-48 hours after delivery to the mailroom till you get your tracking ID", "USPS pickup is in the morning so anything that gets back to VAC will be mailed no earlier than the day after". There is one, though, that just would not give you any information other than what you could already look up online.

Yah finally tracker is Activated just few minutes before.

Applied : 16Th November
Passport Request: 26th November
Passport Delivered by : 3rd December
Approved: 16th December
Tracker Activated: 20th December (5 pm Vancouver)

Sorry for disrupting the thread here, but you guys are all done with the visitor application and everything so I thought you would know the answer to my question.
So, i'm doing a visitor online application for myself. Do I have to print all the forms, sign them, and date them before I upload it? Or do I just upload them?
One of my friends told me I don't have to sign any of the forms because it is an online application.
Please please.. let me know.

If you open in Adobe Acrobat, you will see a clickable 'VALIDATE' button in the form. Click that after you have completed the form and then save it. There is no need to sign, upload this 'VALIDATED' form.

Priority Mail Express® will still be delivered on Sunday, Christmas Eve, and Monday, Christmas Day. So hopefully you could still get it back by Christmas?

Thanks! It is the same here. But I used Priority Mail, not Express. I hope I can pick it up from the post office on Tuesday morning, because I need to leave in the afternoon, cannot wait for the delivery.

Unless you have used Priority Mail for HOLD option when you paid for postage ,Post Office will delivery it to your address however you need to use the package intercept option to hold it at your post office and pick it up directly at PO early in the morning as soon the PO opens.
I have used this option many times when i needed the package early rather than wait for the Carrier to deliver it to me in the evening
