Applying for Study Permit while PR application is open

Thanks so much for the info. It has addressed my worries about the legality of having a dual intent. I will apply for my study permit like I would normally do.

I want to know if in my SOP for the study permit should I mention my dual intent?

What is the best way to convince the officer that I respect the Candian Immigration policies and will leave after my temporary stay, if I am not a Permanent Resident by then.

I am in the same boat, have applied for SP on June 15 while I do have a PR application in process.
I uploaded the medical exam used for PR in my SP application, but received a message asking for a medical exam. Don't know what's wrong!

I just wanna help people in a similar situation as mine..... I had applied under FSW in EE for PR which is still processing..... i also applied for a SP on July 31st as my college begins from Sept 10 and my SP got approved today..... so dual intend is very much possible and I successfully got through.... hope this helps....
