Just wanted to throw it in here for someone who will need this in future
I had previously gotten outta status when I was applying for Open WP after my studies. I was granted a temporary resident visa and a work permit. Now I have applied for my PR and had applied for Bridge permit (work permit extension) - after 4 months of waiting CIC sent me a letter and said that I need to apply on paper. Luckily I was still in status so i was able to reapply.
this was new to me -
A temporary Resident Permit holder can only apply for Work permit application on paper.....
I wish I knew this before.... not everything depends on my PR application... Fingers crossed and good luck to u !
