I finished my Masters in Computer Science at Simon Fraser University and got my letter of completion on May 15, 2014. I immediately joined for a PhD at the same school, so did not apply for a Post Graduate work permit at that time. Now I am not sure about continuing my PhD anymore and want to look for jobs. But it's been more than 90 days since I graduated. Is there any way I can apply for a work permit now if I quit my PhD?
FYI: I have applied for PR through BC PNP but I am not expecting it for at least another year.
Any help regarding this would be greatly appreciated!

1. The OP has applied for PNP through PNP BC, the processing time and s/he feels that the processing time will be at least year before he can apply for work permit with the PNP nomination. As s/he is presently on a study permit, if s/he drops out the study permit is void in 90 days.
