apply online is better or paper based is good

When someone applies for the 1st time, he/she does not have a uci. According to cic, one should write N/A when one does not have a uci. But writing N/A hinders the validation of the imm 1294 form. Any suggestion?

No, we did not print or sign on the paper. The electronic signature cover all forms, except family representative form (if you have other family member that apply visa together with you so you become their representative)

Please if I want to apply with my son .is it necessary to fill the family form then print it and sign it .I will apply a visitor visa for my sob
