Applied with Upfront Medical, Now CIC is Asking for Medical

I applied for my student visa with upfront medical and as my application was paper-based I submitted the e-medical report that IOM provided me. Now my CIC status is showing Medical: Review in Progress but in the message section the message reads:

Medical Report - Section A Client identification and summary (IMM 1017E)

What do I do. A bit confused.

The exact same thing happened to me, it showed 'Review in Progress' and a medical form in my messages. I just waited and two weeks later it changed to 'Passed.' But I agree with above, follow up with the clinic to be on the safe side and send a case specific enquiry to remind them that you already submitted the medical and attach pdf of the upfront receipt. It should be fine.

There is no update yet and have done everything, that is emailing them, case specific enquiry and asking the IOM office whether they sent the medical or not. What do I do?

I suggest you take the medical exam again. You take the medical form to do the tests and when they send those medicals it will have your UCI so it will automatically get linked to your account when CIC receives them. You might want to do it then asap since they gave grace period of 30 days from the day they sent the form.

It doesn't make sense to re-do the medical exam. Why waste money if the previous medical report is still valid. He just has to follow up with the hospital or clinic where he initially went.

But it doesn't make sense and a bit stupid on CIC's part. How can they not find my medical report. The IOM office explained to me in detail that I am assigned a UMI number and this is my IME number. If he knows from the portal and claims that it is linked then the CIC folks must have it. Its a simple entry of my passport number into their system and they will find all the info. After all everything is linked with that.

I am stuck in the same situation. IOM office refused to do the medical again since it is valid for one month. Followed up with Islamabad office and already sent them the IRCC web form. Any suggestion pls???

Thiss is too sad tbh. Do you get emails regarding updates and sometimes its not updated?

Initially my medical status showed and then after three days there was a message along with imm1017. Any help or guidance in this regard is much appreciated

Please how did you solve this I only have 12 days to sort my medical out as well and IOM isn’t helping matters .
