I dont think you can do it on portal. I should be either GCKey or ECAS tool

Hi All,

My background completed on the tracker on Feb 27 2024, still there was no sign of final decision or portal yet. Until this point Winnipeg as pvo and Sydney as svo.

March 7 got to know file has been transferred to Kitchner as pvo and Windsor as svo I was told due to work load.

Ircc call center agents told me that security passed, info sharing and criminality in progress.

Any idea how long does it take from here. If you heard or face the same scenario.

Today I have received BIL and MIL on my GCkey for my PR application, which is managed by my agent. I just tried to register with my UCI number on the tracker. But the attempt was unsuccessful. Could anyone guide me how to register for tracker? Or do I need to wait till I submit my biometrics to register for tracker? I have updated UCI number which doesn't have CAN in the number.

Guys, I have a problem i cannot access the tracker site, https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/authenticate.do it gives me error i am entering everything correctly. where as i have the following steps completed. can anyone help me. I applied through paid Rep.

I have similar issue. I cannot find my application on that tool but can find my application on application tracker status.
I cannot link my GC Key account with the application either. Anyone can help?

I tried creating an account https://ircc-tracker-suivi.apps.cic.gc.ca/en/register to check the latest status but while registering I got an error message, "Incorrect or invalid information. Review and make sure it matches the information submitted on your application. If you can’t create an account, it may be because your application is not in our system yet." I gave the correct UCI and application number and received AOR the same day I submitted my application. Has anyone faced a similar issue. Any suggestions?

Is your UCI linked in GCKey or do you still have CANXXX in GCKey? Are you marked medicals pass in GCKey or have you received BIL?

I'd be very surprised to see if you could create a PR tracker account before your UCI is actually linked to the new PR application.

I still have CANXXX in GCKey. Medicals have not yet been marked pass nor have I received BIL. Is that why I am unable to create an account? How do I link UCI to my GCKey?

IRCC will link your UCI, you can't do that. Yes, CANXXX is precisely why you can't create a tracker account yet.

Medicals( Tracker) updated to be completed on 21st May
Medicals( GCKey) got completed on 11th June
Biometrics ( both on Tracker & GCKey) completed 24th May

Eligibility( Tracker) - Completed in tracker on 05/29
Eligibility( GCKey)- We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.

Background check(Tracker)- In progress
Background check (GCKey)- Not Applicable.



Had called IRCC customer care on 30th May, was informed Eligibility will get updated soon in GCKey, which didn't happen till now.
BGC - out of 3 one was completed and second was in progress.

Question:

• Can we figure out what stage I’m at? (eg: IP1, IP2 etc)
• Is eligibility review still in progress or just the background has to be completed?
• Is it fine if I call IRCC customer care again to check for current status?

1. IP1, IP2 are completely meaningless, they don't exist. Your application is pending background check.
2. Trust your tracker - your eligibility is marked completed or recommended pass. A final review will be done before issuing your a PPR/RFV or a portal email.
3. No issues in calling them. Just that it is meaningless to hog up resources that others in need could take help from - status updates are a waste of everyone's time. But people with genuine concerns can't reach IRCC because of resource hogging. It is a Canadian way to living to be considerate of others.

This is untrue. Your eligibility will never be marked completed on GCKey unless you are virtually landed or get your stamped CoPR. Technical definition of eligibility in GCKey is when you get A11.2 passed + get passports stamped/virtually landed. The agent would provide a decent picture of your current status, but expect them to be fuzzy on the details of what will happen in GCKey. GCKey is a legacy software and was never supposed to reflect such faster application processing times and was designed to support the old 8-12 months worth of processing time.
