Hey friends, I got my visa today (Monday, August 27). It is 2 years multiple visa which was issued on August 24. This was my 2nd attempt as I was denied visa last year. I want to thank all my friends on this forum specially 'Evolvingfaith' (he's probably not active on this forum anymore) who guided me so perfectly to deal with canadian visa technicalities that i am through this year.

I wish all the students waiting for visa or medical call good luck and hope they get their visas in due course of time inshallah.

Last but not least .... please color me green on the spread sheet! Thank you!

me xctly same (7) .... my all friends who had only 2 to 3 members got visas in 2 months.. they r reluctant to review file of aplicant having more memberz i think

My impression is that sometimes its not just CHC who is responsible for the delay, medical goes to new delhi and they may take sometime as well in sending back the results to CHC Islamabad. Its really hard to tell where the major delay is really. I'd think once the medical results arrives at the CHC Islamabad, they probably won't have any reasons to hold the passport unnecessarily.
