Application/Profile Updated -- Ghost Update on Profile

I got two ghost update on my WP application yesterday and today almost at the same time. How is it possible ? What does it indicate? Is this a good sign or just a glitch?

Hi Guys,

I applied for my study permit (for the same, ProIFR) on 12th October. Couldn't submit biometrics because of VACs closed in India. Haven't submitted medical yet as well.

I got the "Application/Profile updated" thrice so far. Once on around 1st November, second 14th November and third 15th November.

I am unsure as to what my status is. Because there is no change in the application. Also, no way I can give biometrics as centres are closed. Any idea as to what is happening?

It could be a glitch or they might have looked into your file.
Although this mostly happens when they look into your file for something.

Ghost updates just means someone is working on your file. Doesn't indicate anything else rather just that your application is being worked on. If there's qnything pending on your file like medical, biometrics etc, they might ask you to get that done, if all is done, you might soon have your results.

I have done upfront medical, gave biometrics and submitted police clearance certificates too. I also got BVL during my another application of different category. Only remaining is my background check for this application.
But, it is quite strange that both ghost update came at almost same time on both day.

Yes, as i've read, sometimes it's just system refresh, which shows as an update. In any case, I would suggest to remain positive and be hopeful that your application is being worked on. Wait for the fat lady to sing..

I received this email yesterday, it seems it all glitch.

Dear client,

Applied: October 12th
BIL: 13th
Medical Request: Nov 23rd
Medical Submitted 24th and passed 29th
Biometrics Appointment 15th December, submitted and updated same day.
