Application/Profile Updated -- Ghost Update on Profile

I applied on July 17
And this statuschange/ update (glitch or whatever ) happened on July 21 and later back to submitted . No email or update since then.. or this is an exercise from ircc for us to decode while we await our decisions lmao..

This frightens me , I got this long time back July 21 and no letter . Should I be worried of refusal ?

Four days look too short of a period to me for any such decision. It must be eligibility review started or smth. I had 'updated' status when my eligibility review started on 22nd of July. Don't worry. Also, I'll keep the thread updated in case of any change.

Have you completed Biometrics previously? It could be related to that, system has found and linked biometrics with your application.

I had the same status change one day before I got my AIP. Hopefully you will receive it 24 hours.

Forgot to mention. When this happened, my medical was passed and went to eligibility review stage. I got AIP next day. AIP date was same as this ghost update date. Even though I received after 24 hours.

No update until Aug 20
Aug 20 medical updated and went to eligibility review. Aug 21 I received AIP dated Aug 20.

I MET THE EXACTLY SAME SITUATION!!! A few days ago my status also turned to " Application/Profile updated" and then was back to "Submitted". I applied on 14th Aug. Im so scared cuz it was my second time of applying!! ahhh!!

It could be what @jigzyy said above. They'd have linked your biometrics with your application. Since it's a very short time span to expect any such decision.

Forgot to ask, you mentioned your eligibility review started on 22nd of July? Is it the Application status stating that" we are reviewing your eligibility ", or the details of application like this below↓ ：

Do you still remember what is was before that? Mine is also that one but I applied on 15th August, only about one week passed.

Yes I had biometrics from previous application ( refusal)

Submitted application on 5th June.
22 July eligibility review started

Just logged in account and status was changed from submitted to Application/Profile Updated. But there's no update in account and no email. Also, later it changed to Submitted again.

Any thoughts? Or anyone faced similar situation?

I got medical request the day after ghost update and then AIP 2 days after medicals

Okay. System traced and linked your previous Biometrics with new app. That was the update.
